Mzz Reese was born in Jackson Mississippi the second oldest of, and raised in Chicago with both parents. She comes from a singing background, her father was was one of the original Canton Spiritual’s Gospel Group and a member of The Kindley Shepherd’s which was one of Chicago’s top gospel groups. Mzz Reese really is a chip off the old block raised in church Choir director for over 45 yrs praise team leader as well. Mzz Reese started her Journey in the blues field 2010 (i think) She teamed up with Joe Brinson(guitarist) and the ShotGun band featuring Mzz Reese since than she’s done one recording entitled Cookies, Something to introduce her to the public and it did just that she have played at plenty of venues Buddy Guy’s, Rosa’s  Mzz Reese has performed at the blues fest 2019-2021! she is currently working on her second album with the help of Jim Sims/! Mzz Reese Mother of five Children Married the love of her life Clinton Young sr. for 30 yes. He passed away 2019 with heart failure! Mzz Reese been singing since the age of Three the older she gets the better she sounds good old SoulfulSound she expresses how she feels on the mic! being a long cancer survivor she is even stronger and better than before she is nothing to reckon with she know’s what to do on stage and when she opens her mouth she would definitely get your attention she is someone you will love to hear it will want to hear again and again!
